This installation explores alternative approaches to artificial intelligence through unconventional robotic entities that communicate via patterns of lights.
The project questions our tendency to design artificial lives as replicas of existing biological forms and proposes a different trajectory. Drawing from decentralized and anti-anthropocentric theories, these entities operate according to their own technological logic, rather than imitating human modes of expression. Their language does not evolve from human linguistic models; instead, it emerges gradually through interaction: lights turning on and off function as grammar, while color indicates emotions. By envisioning artificial intelligences that are not bound by anthropocentric design, the installation invites viewers to speculate: how might AI evolve when freed from the need to resemble us? And in turn, how might we rethink the relationship between humans and technology?
