This piece of writing is a part of a collective publication among 13 artists at DMA and guided by Mindy Seu. The artists answers the questions from their own perspectives: "What grows in the dark? What grows in dark times?".
This particular chapter - "The Capacity to Sit With [ ]" is a meta-dialogue between myself and an LLM on the topic of the epistemological change that is happening with the increasing interaction with LLMs (/"AI"). For me then, "what grows in the dark" sits somewhere between the unfinished sentences. The half-formed thought. The glimmer that hasn't yet become a thing you could say. An thus in the dark, before the reach for resolution, something is still becoming - the capacity to sit with it is diappearing, shifting, and growing simultaneously.
